Inpatient Psychiatric Treatment
Inpatient psychiatric treatment at Pembroke Hospital provides intensive diagnostic evaluation and treatment to stabilize teens, adults and older adults with psychiatric disorders. While living at the hospital, patients work with a multidisciplinary treatment team overseen by a psychiatrist who designs an individualized treatment plan for each of them.
Inpatient care includes 24-hour nursing care and a broad range of psychiatric intervention methods. Discharge planning with family and other involved parties helps patients move as quickly as possible to a less intensive level of care or an appropriate aftercare service.
